WRs Opinions on WRs coming to the Ravens

Apparently, Steve Smith Sr. and Derrick Mason both feel that WRs will not want to come play for the Ravens, but I’ve not read the actual comments. Can anyone provide them or links to them please?

Thats pretty obvious. Nobody will come here if they have other options. Thats why we gotta draft well.

On the other hand, RBs and TEs will want to be here, so its fine.

I didn’t hear it but the assets they’ve put into TE the last 11 months plus their run/pass splits with Lamar make it likely Ravens WRs will be last in throws, catches, yards, and TDs.

It’s pretty damn easy to see why. Unless the Ravens a huge contract that takes the player to the end of their career, it’s a dumb decision to come here.

Most guys now a days are taking shorter deals in hopes of playing well, improving their statistics and making it to another potentially more lucrative deal in the future.

I highly doubt a guy with the above in mind, would want to sign in Baltimore after seeing how shaky Lamar was in the playoffs and how often the Ravens are running the football with him under center.

Doesnt surprise me. If we're going as run-first as I think we're going.. we only really need some speedy guys that can get open when Lamar bounces outta the pocket and maybe one really solid possession receiver

We have half that. Snead is a damn good possession guy. He runs nice routes. His hands aren’t AB like but who’s are?

Culex, Lamar isn’t going to be some Mahomes/Wilson, throw on the run QB.

Lamar actually throws pretty well on the run. Certainly much, much better than you make it out to be.

I'll be very comfortable with Lamar in the rollout game, assuming his global fundamentals get solid this offseason.
