    Believe it or not, I think that playoff game was a better experience for the coaches than Lamar (and yes, I believe it was great for Lamar).

    They actually let Jackson throw, likely thinking "well, we can't win anyway" and then watched him almost throw the team back to a win. Who knows what would have happened with better pass protection

    That's a great point.

    And going off that last sentence, man that last drive haunts me. Lamar was certainly responsible for his share of fumbles but that last one was just a clean strip sack. Iirc first time Zeus Jr allowed a sack all year.

    This is why upgrading the OL will pay more dividends than upgrading the WRs. It's not just the running game that benefits.
