Special teams
What’s going on last few years?
We don’t have much of a return game
Commit a lot of penalties
Outside of tucker and Koch they have been average last few years.
Ravens used to be above average special teams unit for a long time.
Is it because rosburg is gone or we don’t have the talent or something else?

Re: Special teams
Rosburg will likely be the first place most will look and that’s fair. However, we really haven’t had a reliable returner since Jacoby Jones left either.

Re: Special teams
De'Anthony Thomas was terrible. The most frustrating Raven in this magical season in my opinion. He was just absolutely horrible. Bad returns, penalties, and stupid decisions. I would happily throw a 4th round pick at a talented returner like Javon Leake just so I don't have to think about it for the next 4 years.

Re: Special teams
Special teams is the one place where I would love to see a coaching change.
I doubt it happens, but one can hope.

Re: Special teams
I think Horton deserves another year, but it has to look significantly better.
I mean, we didn't help him out at all. We just assumed he could work Rosburg level magic. We cut Bethel, we moved on from McClellan the year before, we had inconsistencies at returner. We might lose Levine in this offseason. We need to actually get Horton some players that can be relied upon. He wasn't working with much here."That's not Donovan McNabb."
