was not expecting to see Sieler or Bowser graded higher than average. i would expect Peanut to have the biggest increase from now until the end of the season on D. tough to predict who will improve the most on O, although my gut says Snead. i think slot receiver is the final ingredient they'll add to the mix this season.

I do not know why but Ricard's page has no grade on it. I'm wondering the same thing. Maybe his two-way playing has them confused?

Sieler's grade is going to fluctuate wildly because he doesn't have many snaps yet. Look at LJ Fort and Jihad Ward, their grades dropped big for whatever reason. They might gain a good chunk of that back vs Houston, we don't know.

Bowser's been on the field all season so his score is more stable. Yes he's been playing pretty well, his coverage skills are getting back to college level (relatively speaking - after all the NFL is a lot tougher) and his run defense is improving (where that was a weakness in his game). He's got good speed but he's just not a premier pass rusher and never will be. Still IMO best suited playing WLB in a 4-3, but with all the different looks the Ravens D gives it's not an issue.

Tyus Bowser, and I will admit he's a player I like, has been developing well in 2019. With McPhee injured (quite a defensive loss), others have had to pick up the slack/snaps. He's in his 3rd pro year and some take longer than others to grow. I think we will be happy to have him come January... Bc

I'm surprised Marlon isn't higher. He's a lock to make the Pro Bowl to me, but maybe they value the big impact plays less in their numbers.

Wasn't sure where else to put this--don't think it's exactly threadworth--but this Edgar Allen vid is a great breakdown of the well-rounded player Bowser has become. He hasn't blossomed into the disruptive pass rusher we hoped, but he's been really great in coverage and solid against the run this year. And most surprising for a guy that looked totally lost fairly frequently last year, he's been playing decisively and intuitively. Looks like the game has finally slowed down for him.



I admit, I had completely written him off. I honestly didn't even think he'd make the team out of camp this year. Gotta give credit to my man Bc on this one, he never wavered in his confidence that Bowser would emerge.

he's also shadowing the majority of the time and playing slot many times and that is something he is still getting better at. He said he needed to learn to play the slot better if he was going to shadow a few weeks ago.
