I think it is a combination of losing Yanda, his three backups, our starting rb, three of our TE and the other thing that I have discussed in depth. It all adds up.

Actually we've replaced our 6th guard with a rotation of our 7th & 8th, whose supposed to be our backup C.

Funny how the offense was fine till he went out. They were running effectively passing efficiency. Yanda goes down it all collapses. I'd reach out to sf see if they have a serviceable guard and sent them a 5th rounder. With a Yanda I think they could have gotten in to the playoffs now 6-10 8-8 just because of how soft th schedule is

This. Yanda is a huge loss, but with losing all the other OL is what pushes it over the edge.

The thing is Lewis was lost before training camp Urshal retired before training camp. Goose 2 at the beginning of training camp. It was inexcusable not to replace them early. When you had options

I compared it to losing Suggs in 2015 after it happened. Pretty much going as that did so far. It's not easy on a number of levels to deal with losing a guy like Yanda and all that he means to the team.

Yanda... and Nico, Urschel, Lewis are too much to overcome, at least right now. youre talking about your entire interior line being down to 3rd string outside Jensen whos green but seems to be holding his own.

what QB plays well with pressure up the middle?... the answer is none.

I will say that I still have hope that with some more experience they start fixing mistakes and playing together better. In other words, I dont see how they could get much worse.

Yanda was holding some of the patchwork together. He was the lynch pin. They're struggling for answers now.

All three of those guys were hurt and done before training camp was a week old. They could have made moves they just failed to. Young when down in comes Boykin(he didn't pan out but they made an effort) within two or three days. You sailed with this ship now go down with it
