#1 Seed
Take some time this week to enjoy that fact. Hopefully the Ravens can hold on to that position.

Re: #1 Seed
One game at a time. Gotta take care of bidness Thursday night. The 49ers are good but not as good as their record shows and they're due for a loss.

Re: #1 Seed
IF we play our schedule right...no more stupid letdown/lackluster shit....this is possible...
Consider the current division leaders...
AFC West - Raiders - 6-4. We have a one game lead on them in the W-L column. That division is so topsy turvy, not an easy walkaway end of the season for them.
AFC South - Texans - 7-3. We have the tiebreaker over them
AFC East - Patriots - 6-3*. Assume a win tomorrow, so 7-3. The next tiebreaker would be conference record (?), and they will likely have the edge on us there after tomorrow at 6-2. We only have 2 conference losses though, so there's a chance we could tie that.
So if we can keep our hold on our own division and keep up the pace, we already have at least a top 2 seed, possibly 1 if the Pats slip up more..
.
“When I think of a Baltimore Raven - we go in there, we take your lunch box, we take your sandwich, we take your juice box, we take your applesauce, and we take your spork and we break it. And we leave you with an empty lunch. That’s the Baltimore Raven way.” - Steve Smith Sr.
Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!

Re: #1 Seed
If we win out, we are the top seed.
That's a big if though. The 2011 Ravens can't handle prosperity.

Re: #1 Seed
We're only the #1 seed this week if New England loses Monday night.
If the Patriots win Monday night, they are the top seed. We'll both be 7-3, but they'll have a 6-2 record in conference and we're 5-2, so they'd get the tie-break.

Re: #1 Seed
SF has # 1 picks on both sides of the ball. They only play 2
more teams with winning records - us and Piss.
Gonna be a tuff game but we're 5-0 at home and on Turkey
Day.
Ravens win this one for the Gipper.

Re: #1 Seed
Once again the Ravens are in the driver's seat (for the division anyway). It's time to never turn the keys over again. Next up the Niners on a short week.

Re: #1 Seed
If they can hold on to a 1st round bye that would be huge. We've still got a lot of work to do though, since the Steelers and Bengals are both right up with us in the division, and the Texans and Patriots are competition for playoff seeding if we hang on to the division.

This is nice to look at. As a PSL owner, I have been wanting this scenario for 15 years now. Its a tough road ahead but in the meantime, it is nice to look at this chart for a moment.
The big question is though, can the Ravens maintain this status for more than a weeK? Looking forward to Thursday night. Hopefully my voice returns before then.
