Ryan Mallett throws four TDs, board melts down, lol. Man I would pay to see that. Suddenly our offense looks transformed, with someone showing some tempo, making reads, taking deep shots.

BWill is back and the Ravens D returns to form. Flacco and the offense manage consecutive completions greater than 5 yards to WRs. Tucker wins it for the home team.

    Steelers 20

Flacco is benched, and Mallett beats PIT in Balt again 23-20.

Re: The OFFICIAL Ravens v. Steelers Prediction Thread

The London game should not surprise us too much - especially our inept offense AND the siteseeing distractions. Suddenly no Marshall Yanda, no Brandon Williams and, then, losing Brent Urban for the season (sheeesh!). Unfortunately, I smell a three-game losing streak. I am reminded of the 2008 season, Flacco's rookie year. That season, we won the first two against Cincy and Cleveland. Then lost three straight against Pitt, Tenn and Indy (which was a blowout on the road). But starting 2-3 then didn't keep us from finishing with an 11-5 record, despite a sweep by the Steelers.

    PIT 23
    BAL 20

Hope I'm wrong because a win over the Steelers or Raiders would be HUGE without Yanda. Yanda played six quarters this season while the Ravens scored 41 points. Then we went six quarters without him and scored 10 points. During last year's four-game losing streak, Yanda missed three of them - including a devastating loss to the 1-5 Jets that wrecked the season.

Better yet, Flacco is a late scratch, Mallett comes down with some mysterious illness and Woody is elevated to starting QB and leads the Ravens to victory 24-20 With three touchdown passes to Perriman.

NO offense meant, but "consecutive" means "two or more in a row." Typo, right? Go ahead and edit. To err is human. Or false news.
