    Cary Williams to Philadelphia

    Jeff Zrebiec ‏@jeffzrebiecsun

Eagles announce that they have agreed to terms with Cary Williams. Another one bites dust for #Ravens.
Three years, $17 million with $10m guaranteed according to Aaron Wilson. Just $2m more than what the Ravens offered last year.

I was just wondering about him earlier. Looks like his gamble paid off after turning down an offer of 3 yrs,
    15M from the ravens.
The market for cornerbacks was a little soft this year.

Could also be a difference in guaranteed money.

Does the $17M include the $2M in incentives, or is that extra. I am just wondering if the max amount of the deal is $17M or $19M over three years.

Cary played well for us last year, I'm happy he got a decent deal.

Bingo. We only guaranteed him $3m, and that was also his entire first year payout, and also coincidentally(or on purpose) what he was paid on his RFA tender. So basically all we offerred his was two years past his tag with middling money.

and for those at home, that's 7 starters... with Reed, McKinnie and perhaps Leach to come.
