I saw their CBS at my local shop. Interested, but not at $30 for a 4-pack.

You’re not woke. He’s mocking you.

Pretty pricey stuff, I'd say. I'll look at what they have and decide. I'll buy something. I usually have a few batches of my own, but haven't had the time to make any in quite awhile and I had some help lately drinking it up. Sometimes I do like to take a break from it and try other stuff. Like now......

When I was in Georgia a few years ago I was at a tap house & they had this stout called Mexican Cake. It’s made by Westbrook Brewery in South Carolina. I thought it was delicious, so I checked out Westbrook’s website and saw that it was something like $30 for a single bottle (30-35 ounces, I think)

Yes, well said but I still benefit from reading the anti-woke social justice warriors since I don't spend much time with people who brag about being asleep. I find it to be a curiosity.

Craft beer isn't what it used to be anyway. Craft brewers who used to be the cutting edge brewers like DFH and Wicked, for example, have been purchased at least to some degree by huge companies like A.B.

10 years ago, folks bought the annual releases at outrages prices but I dont know anyone who buys KBS anymore. After tax, that is close to $8 a bottle. Clever marketing. Founders is owned by a Spanish company these days. I was disappointed this summer while visiting Ommegang in New York that they are actually owned by Duval out of Belgium. It's all good beer still but is really just large international companies putting a boutique veneer on their product to appeal to asleep American markets.

Small liquor stores won't go out of business if they take founders off the shelves but founders will be forced to wake up.

Wow. Probably brewed with Mexican chocolate....it sounds delicious. Especially in the winter.

Nice. Didn't know you brew as well.

I have ingredients for an oatmeal stout that I have been meaning to get to. Maybe this week.

I mean, it originates from 19th century England.

So...yes. Definitely racist. Probably should be boycotted. And publicly shamed. Probably should get Congress to spin up some legislation on outlawing black and tan drinks being served at bars.
