El Salvador Solution For The Inner City/Trailer Park Neighborhoods of America?

El Salvador is cracking down on gangs in the barrios (equivalent to the hoods or trailerparks in America). There is concern about human rights in innocents being caught in arrests. However the poor who live there are now able to go out safely and are happy about the crackdown. These areas have been violent for decades. Do you think the United States government will finally do something to help the poor innocents in Chicago, San Francisco, New York, Baltimore, and other violent places by cracking down on gangs like El Salvador is? What are your thoughts?

China is much lower in crime than United States and the UK. Cars don't get broken into. Leave your items without them being stolen. Chinese culture is much better than Western culture. Culture is what the problem is in Western nations.

From a person who lives in El Salvador:

"Human rights are more concerned with the rights of the gang members instead of the poor (who are more than 40% of the population) who live in fear of extortion and murder. Good for President Bukele and the Salvadorean people. It's time to clean the scum from the streets. Every worker, every student, and every innocent person has the right to peace and live a life without fear. The gangs' problem is not yesterday's problem, and this situation has been going on since the civil war. If only the previous governments had done their part, this wouldn't be as bad as it is. So again, praise Bukele. Finally, justice is being served. Stop condemning other countries for doing what is suitable for their people. You don't know what it is to live in "Soyapango" near a gang territory; you wouldn't understand. Gangs will behead you because you are on their turf, no questions asked. And then you ask: Why is immigration so bad? Why do you come to the US looking for asylum?"

"They never talk about the voiceless girls who gets chop into pieces by refusing to be a gang members girlfriend"

Our country should absolutely be cracking down on gangs by eradicating them. As Kurt Russell says in Tombstone, “I see a red sash, I kill the man wearing it.” We need to stop arresting gangs-bangers and just execute them on the spot.

Sadly our curtent AGs idea of a "gang" is parents holding cardboard signs outside of school board meetings, former Trump officials and Ginni Thomas.

Uh, no. We have due process in this country for a reason.

That said, once convicted they should receive severe penalties. And they shouldn't be out on bail (or without bail).

Due process? Most gang members are know. They should be systematically picked up and dealt with.

If they are so well known and there crimes so obvious a conviction in court should be easy.

I can't believe an American would say this kind of thing.

Conviction in court? Nah, judges are too Leanient on them, juries would not send them to prison. Too many people think these animals can be rehibilitated. Also, witnesses (if they come forward) are usually murdered. That’s the American justice system.

All gang activities should be federally charged under RICO. That goes for anything from a carjacking to running a sophisticated drug distribution operation. The Feds have a 95% conviction rate once indicted.

You've got it reversed here. The jury convicts and the judge sentences.
