Should Tyrod Taylor be included more often?

In my personal opinion, I'd like to see Tyrod more often!!

    Thoughts??

Anything new is worth a try, because the current schemes and QB effort are not getting the job done. In every loss since Denver, the defense has given up less than 21 points. The offense is giving away more points than is allowed.
“Not bad for a running back.”

Being an automotive guy when I hear the name Tyrod I always wanna give him a few turns to set the toe on the alignment rack.

I think Joe is way overdue for a breakout day.

(pardon me guys, I'm on vacation this week and my team is on a bye week)

    No.

The league is littered with great college players who don't pan out as starters. Just because he had success at Va Tech or had fast 40 times doesn't mean he'd have success in the pros. To put it simply, if he was a pro athlete, someone would have made a trade offer.

The league figured out the Wildcat in 2010. No need for gimmicks. It's an off year and the problem is glaring -- the offensive line.

Not as a starter. Change of pace guy.

Hard to do that with Bell Cow QB's these days. Most starting QB's have a strong ego and consider themselves the leader on offense for better or worse. When you do that you always undermine the QB slightly. I can't think of too many instances where it has worked.

Included more often? How about 'included at all'? IIRC his only play this year was the 18 yard run. Otherwise, he's picking splinters out of his @$$. On a team that's offensively challenged, perhaps the great coaching minds can figure out some way to use this guy.

Flacco doesn't seem like an ego. I think he would have no problem, but always possible.

Remember, Joe doesn't have to come off the field for Taylor to come in.

    I understand that.

He's not being used more for a reason. He ain't that good.

We had this exact same discussion when Troy Smith was here.

I'm ok with one or two change of pace plays, like how he's being used now.

Use him any more than that and it will reek of desperation.

I would be okay with them having a package with Tyrod on a regular basis but only if the Ravens had three active QB's. I realize if Joe goes down we're screwed anyway but I still don't like the idea of using their only back up QB more then once in a while.

It would definitely be a change up from Rice/Pierce.
