I honesty don't even know. He got elected even after past reports of sexual assault so I don't even know what's going on anymore. I guess a positive is that people are now speaking out about this stuff, and hopefully, more victims will have the courage to come forward.

Now, having said that... I see the people saying he's a monster and convicting him just as easily as people are dismissing the accusations. Neither are surprising.
The standards of evidence needed to convict someone of criminal behavior and the standards of evidence needed to determine whether a person should earn your vote are not the same.

What would you call this "now we can appropriately characterize him as a monster. "

Given the story, and all of the corroborating accounts, I believe the women and I believe he is a monster. His past comments also help form a basis for that conclusion.

I also believe you need evidence beyond a reasonable doubt presented in court to convict.

Thank you. That's what I was saying, you believe he's guilty. Others on this thread haven't gone as far in the opposite direction saying, he's not guilty. I've just seen people say something seems off after 40 years.

Correct, that is indeed the case.

I'm saying, for not going as far in the opposite direction, he traveled an awfully long distance.

I wonder why she waited 40 years too. That doesn't mean I think she's lying or saying he's innocent.
