At first glance, that did look fishy to me. But again, any borderline call WILL be called against us, and not for us. It's a stigma that's going to take awhile to get rid of. We need to play practically hands off for a full season before we'll have a shot at getting some of those borderline calls.

He was holding the ball away from him, looking for someone to lateral to. Technically he didn't do it, but I think the only reason he wasn't holding the ball safe is he was trying to lateral.
