Nice deflection. Bernie Sanders loved Communist Russia. He took his honeymoon there. He met with communist officials. He is 100% a Communist. You need to stop believing what these politicians say in front of a camera when trying to convince moderates to vote for them versus what their actions and beliefs show they are the other 99% of their lives.

What? That's business. Every major hotel and resort operator does business in China. We are talking about Bernie Sanders here anyway. Address the question.

Bernie acts like a communist, he talks like a communist, he honeymoons in a communist country. He spoke positively about bread lines in the Soviet Union for Christ's sake.

Edit: it was communist Nicaragua he was talking about. Funny how bread lines eventually happen in every communist and socialist country.

I don't see anything wrong with this quote at face value. There will always be poor and destitute folks in any society. I would always want for them to be able to find free food than just starve to death.

But what about Bernie's policies are communist?

The problem with Communism is that 90% of the people are in the bread line and many are dying of malnutrition because that's all they are getting.

You are very naive man. You need to get out there and see the world and experience these things. Talk to people that have lived in and fled communism. People that actually stood in bread lines.

To be honest, you're right, that is pretty bad, but I still agree with most of his current ideology, which is obviously not what is in the paper.

Thomas Sowell was a socialist in his formative years. Trump was a democrat. People change ideologies as they get older, and I happen to agree with what most of Bernie stands for now.

No, we would do like we do a lot of other things. Like police protection. I give a little of my money, and you give a little of your money so that all of us have police protection. Even the homeless person that has no money to contribute to police protection can call 911 and benefit from the communal services that we pay for.

I happen to like that system.

His ideology is the same. He just started inventing terms like "democratic socialist " to make it sound better. He was always an extreme leftist. Change my mind.

I'm not sure Trump's ideology every changed. People switch parties all the time. The Democrat party moved so far left that any moderates were left behind. I also know many conservatives in Blue states and some in Hollywood that register as Democrats for business reasons. The left isn't very tolerant of anyone that's not just like them .
