Re: Jaylen Hill back at practice

I know the team's historical aversion to playing young guys over vets, but Webb has been so bad that I don't see how they don't get Hill out there at least on the kind of basis they have done with Humphrey, where he replaces Webb for a few series a game.

They need the quicker, shiftier, younger legs. Webb is getting eaten up.

History suggests that Harbaugh and Pees will barely put Hill on the field in his debut. They are firmly in the devil you know camp.

The one silver lining is I'm not sure if they will have to run as much nickel this week given the likelihood Oakland will probably go run heavy. I would imagine a lot more Levine and Onuwasor.

Even Webbie himself said that he was not expecting to play so much so early and that it has taken injuries thus far for him to play. He was ready for the older player/coach role for the young guys.

Hope Hill can play soon but assume he's a few weeks away from fully regaining game shape and getting his feet back under him. He is, after all, a rookie UDFA. Exciting nonetheless...

I want to see Webb in center field and nowhere else at this point

What if I were the real Webb. I've always wondered if any of the players have accounts on this message board.

That's what I've been saying Center field he's awesome and usually our surest tackler not hitter but tackler. As a corner that quickness is gone

If only Webby's knees hadn't been made of peanut brittle.

Great to see Jaylen back though.
