10-6 but I miss seeing the boys in Westminster. I will definitely be paying more attention to the pre-season games, and based on the rest of the FA period this number may go up. Sept 11th cannot come fast enough, it has been Steeler week since the meltdown in the playoffs in January.

When I look at this schedule, I can find 10 wins so I'll go 10-6 and hope they over achieve.

I'm saying 10-6. Until the Ravens prove that the Steelers (with Ben) straight OWN them, I think they sweep the Ravens this year. I think the Harbowl ends with a 49ers win...I never feel good about nationally televised games.:celery

What the hell I'm saying 13-3. We can't lose to the Steelers forever so we split with them this year (with Ben playing). Could change either way after the preseason games. We did lose a big part of our offense with Heap and Mason but I also see more speed and quickness and hopefully they'll be able to produce. If Jimmy play's to his potential Pagano bring's the fun back into our defense we'll be ok. Kindle can't make things worse so hopefully he'll be a surprise what we've was expecting last year. Again we won't know until we see a preseason game but I'll go with this for now.

Maybe I am just too much of an optimist but I think they are going to be pretty good this year.

I like that they're getting younger. I think 1 or 2 more moves put them where they need to be.

I am going with 12-4 if they sign Moss, or Mason or trade for a WR, and something with DE

    If not I say 10 - 6

Hey man, congrats! I quit when my first child was born. Just couldn't look them in the eye and tell them not to smoke if I was doing it, too. She just turned 15! :ww:

This year is giving me heartburn, to be honest. Ed Dickson is gonna replace a guy who scored more TD's than anyone else in Ravens History! He was thrown to 24 times last year and dropped an easy ball in a clutch game in January. I believe he's a balla, though.

It's Joe that worries me. His "blankies" are gone: Heap, Mason, Clayton. Can he adjust and get everyone the ball? Can he trust his teammates and inspire confidence in them? He only has one vet to throw to now. It's time for him to grow. Because it will be a growing season for the Flacmaster, I expect stupid losses.

9-7 (and that's being cheery and optimistic)

    Prediction?!

Pain is no doubt in order for whomever has to line up across from Ray and/or Vonta.

    Now then, 11-5.

AFCN Division Winner on a tiebreak over Pitt.

    AFC Championship Game. Winner...why not?!

Ravens in the Superbowl. Winner...why not?!

Harbs next year at training camp.

Re: Premier -- The Great Perception Experiment Thread

Okay, I'm going to start with 11-5 for now.

Despite the doom and gloomers, the running game is going to be better, which will allow the offense to hold onto the ball longer and spell the defense more. That in turn takes pressure off the defense at the end of the game, so I think some of the lost leads won't be lost this season. The right side of the line is better than last year. Period. Yanda at RG and Reid at RT is better for the run game than Chester at RG and Yanda at RT, and the FB issue is a great improvement. Additionally, the defense is better than last season. They are adding Kindle and JSmith and losing Gregg, Landry and Wilson, but replacing Mattison with Pagano, so I don't see a drop off.

I also think that people are underestimating Ed Dickson. I've been on his bandwagon since he was in college and was the one TE I was hoping the Ravens drafted. His blocking may not be at Heap's level, but he is going to be a more dynamic and explosive receiver. The only real question I think the Ravens have is in the WR department, but what else is new?

    11-5

I think our running game is going to be in the top 10 maybe the top 5 this year which is going to improve our passing game.
