general non-Raven news & thoughts Week 1
Big question @ Denver off season; new QB. well considering Peyton last year had a noodle arm they didn't lose that much. their D wins for them, they just need a pivot that won't turn it over much. as long as Siemans (sp?) holds on to the ball they should be okay.
I thought Carolina would go in the game hopping mad and maybe blow them out but no."Nothing stops these Baltimore Ravens. Beat them, injure them, shove them to the bottom of the standings, drag them into a hostile environment and mount a big lead, and they just keep trudging forward like nothing fazes them." Week 1 is usually the week where you get surprised by some results. It'll be interesting to see where the surprises will come from.

Re: general non-Raven news & thoughts Week 1
For some teams, it's a 5th preseason game and maybe not a game that matters in the long run. After this weekend, fans will have a lot to talk about, LOL. By the 5th or 6th game, we'll know more about the contenders and pretenders.
And Ex, don't change, the forum wouldn't be right without you around.

Safety Eric Weddle made the FA jump from San Diego to Here on the off season.
Yesterday, the Chargers blew a 21-point lead to lose @ KC. Whilst the Ravens held the Bills to seven points.
coincidence?
Eagles beat Cleveland; same old Browns. First-year HC and QB win their opener; are they the '08 Ravens?
tough loss for the Jets, really hoping they'd hold off Cinci, and they almost did.
Jax just missed beating the Packers.
Cowboys lost a close one to the Giants. their rookie QB looked good. I wonder if Garrett will be a big-time OC in the league.
Vikings looked good, backup QB and all.
Seahawks survived a scare v Dolphins.
Cheatriots win, everybody else in their div loses. bleh.
