Any reason as to why he was released and does he have anything left? He's primarily a 4-3 end correct? If it were a cheap 1 yr rental maybe I'm more interested in seeing what these young guys can do.

I think he's worth a shot... Maybe we'll catch lightning in a bottle... It's not like it could hurt any

Things change when you don't have Jared Allen and the Williams wall taking all the OL's attention.

He didn't have Jared Allen in Atlanta.

I know this may sound crazy, but what if we were to actually let our own players develop for once?

Courtney Upshaw is becoming a monster. Tyson has looked good in limited action and paul kruger may just be a great situational player.

Yeah, cause Yanda, Flacco, Oher, Torrey Smith, KO didn't start as rookies.

Rice didn't start as a 2nd year player.

Cody wasn't also a starter in his 2nd year.

They didn't start a 3rd year CB (Webb) and an unknown former-PS player (Williams) to start last season at CB.

They didn't release Heap prior to last year and allow Pitta and Dickson (both in their 2nd years) to take over at TE.

They didn't start this season with Harewood at Guard.

And, they didn't let Redding and JJ go this year, and give McPhee and McClellan/Kruger/Upshaw a chance to take those starting spots.

He's interesting for sure, but I don't know if he'd fit here or if they'd be interested in him over what we have currently on the roster.
