Barstool Sports: Pats and Ravens in Trade Talks re Hayden Hurst
Not sure of the validity so take it with a grain of salt, but the thought does make sense. Pats are in desperate need for a TE and the Ravens are top heavy at TE.

Jags also in the mix.
What we're trying to do here at the castle is:
Jaguars receive: Hurst and #28
Ravens receive: #20 and a conditional 2021 third

Re: Bartsool: Pats and Ravens in Trade Talks re Hayden Hurst
I really don't want to trade Hurst, but I would jump at this trade. Hurst has the best hands on the team, he is just a little slow to read the coverage and find the hole in the defense. If he were traded to NE and is paired with Brady, I could see him catching 75 balls for close to 1k yards

We're good right now at TE but what if Andrews or Boyle is hurt for an extended period? I wouldn't trade Hurst, infact he should be used more, imo.

Seems like a desperation move on New England’s behalf to bait Brady into staying. There’s no way in hell I would trade any player of value to them to help them get better.
I’d take Hurst to Jax for #20 (from LA) and a pick later on day two

Re: Bartsool: Pats and Ravens in Trade Talks re Hayden Hurst
I instinctively dislike this idea, even if we got a first for him.
We'd have a 1st rounder for 4 cheap years vs Hurst's 2 but we already know that he's good whereas the 1st could be a bust.
If Hurst was in this year's draft he'd be a first rounder anyway - lots of teams need a TE and he's better than anyone in this years draft. We should bear that in mind because we'd be one of those teams and we'd need to draft an inferior version this year.
However, if DeCosta wants to generate enough draft capital to trade up for a top pass rusher, maybe I could live with the trade.

No way in hell I trade hurst to the pats. I feel like he has really came in handy already. Id rather keep him and see if he pans out here. Plus... there’s no way we are coming close to a first for hurst. If pats gave up two firsts i Wouldn’t trade him to them. Imagine losing in the playoffs on a td catch to him. itd suck
All ravens fans are right about something

"soft ass"? Good lord ....
Yeah, agreed. Never want to see the Pats get better but it may be a deal too sweet to pass up.
Its obvious Jackson prefers Andrews. Not many teams can boast three quality tight ends. That's trade capital that's hard to ignore.

Definitely do not want to move Hurst for anything less than a first.
"That's not Donovan McNabb."
