I think I’d like to see them grab one of those guys. What’s up with Landon Collins? Was an all pro and now guys talking about him being a free agent? That’s a guy I’d look at.
I'd keep Smith between the two.

The 80:20 rule I think applies at ILB (Peanut and Young would be pressured into the role, but hey we do that to our offense all the time). It doesn't at OLB because T-Will and Bowser haven't developed.

As for FS, Collins wouldn't be my guy. He would be if we didn't have Jefferson, but they play a similar role, just Collins is way better at it. I like Lemarcus Joyner more if he hits the market. Especially the way wink plays his defense by moving Weddle all over the place.

I'd add someone at S and keep Weddle too.

I really think we are going to regret letting CJ go. I know we were spoiled by Ray but I’m telling you, this defense will suffer without CJ. Resign your homegrown talent.

It’s different when it’s one of your main leaders. Losing a good soldier is next man up, losing one of your main leaders changes everything.

That one half of football in Cincy was not encouraging.

Okay elephant in the room. Should we pursue Kareem Hunt?

0% chance. Probably less than zero actually.

I’m telling you, letting CJ walk will be a huge mistake. We are taking him for granted. Nobody will be Ray.

He just does not defend the pass well enough game to game.

I agree, but wink did a pretty good job of hiding that weakness. He didn’t get exposed nearly as much this season.

If losing Mosley means we can sign Ford/Clowney/Lawrence, then bye Felicia... I mean Mosley. But if EDC is saying we're not going to swim in those Waters, then tag and work out a long term deal with CJ.
