Re: Skip Bayless doesn't see the difference between Leftwich and Flacco.
If you really want to see what ESPN has sunk to, read this article.

They're like a sports National Enquirer now. The article covers a lot of stuff ESPN has done recently but it doesn't even mention one of their other hack jobs, running with the Bernie Fine story.

I love it when Bayless talks crap. He looks dumber and dumber every time.

Re: Skip Bayless doesn't see the difference between Leftwich and Flacco.
Well...as propsects coming out of college he isn't wrong anyway!
Leftwich is garabage. Flacco is a league average NFL QB. There's a huge chasm between those.

Re: Skip Bayless doesn't see the difference between Leftwich and Flacco.
Average QB's can't throw for over 300 yards, or go the full length of the field on the road against a number 1 ranked defense and throw winning TD's, and do it in AFC Championship games/play off games either, that's not a mark of an "average QB".
Joes the second tier of QB's who can play at an elite level at times but is simply too inconsistent to be in the top 5 conversation. You can win a championship with him, I very much doubt you can win championships with the likes of Kevin Kolb, Michael Vick, Andy Dalton, Carson Palmer, etc (average QB's).

Re: Skip Bayless doesn't see the difference between Leftwich and Flacco.
Umm lots of people drive all over the field on the Patriots. And the Raiders.
To your point about winning championships:
1) we haven't with Flacco, either
2) I think we'd have had equal success since 2008 with a Carson Palmer or Andy Dalton as we've had with Flacco. Kolb is way far below average and Vick is a who knows.

[QUOTE=wickedsolo;516155]#1 - the dude's real name is John Edward Bayless II. How one derives "Skip" from that, I don't know. Perhaps that was what happened to him as a child when it came time to pick teams.
#2 - Any grown ass man who goes by the name Skip automatically deserves a punch in the face.

Unless of course his name is Quintin McHale, Jonas Grumby, John F. Kennedy, John Paul Jones, or Earl Weaver. ;)
I think the jerk makes shit up about the Ravens because
1. Sensationalism = ratings
2. Half the league still hates us because of the Cleveland move
3. We have a relatively small fanbase and, as Bayless and other haters have said, nobody cares about us anyway lol
IOTW he had to pick a team he could make fun of because he doesn't have the mental capacity to be a real football pundit. The dick picked us.Twenty years of Cheers.
Thanks Baltimore Ravens Fans - You're the Best!

Skip Bayless doesn't believe half of what he says.
