Re: Game thread- Jacksonville @ Baltimore (Pre season)

Little too much on that pass to Torrey. He kind of had to put it out towards the sideline though to keep it away from the safety coming across.

Not too bad of a drive though.

Joe has been no where close with his deep balls this preseason

Another thing this TV coverage sucks. No replays on Boldin's "false start" or Joe's overthrow to Torrey.

I want us to pwn Blaine Gabbert.

    Notes from that first series:

Looked really good to begin with, and started to get momentum, Leach had a first down there if it wasn't for that BS call. Offensive line looked very good in pass pro, Leach made a nice block there, just goes to show that he can play in the hurry up. Bajema is really surprising me, and looked good out there.

Big difference throwing in a game though.

Those are low probability passes. I agree that they need to work on those a bit more, but also that is what...his 2nd fairly deep pass in a game situation (the first being the miss to Jacoby last week)?

Blaine Gabbert looks a lot better (so far) than I thought he would.

Nice pass by Gabbert. Having Blackmon doesn't hurt either.

Jimmy Smith is really lacking in football instincts. That's not a scheme/injury thing. He just didn't see the curl route there and gave up the chains... despite having help over the top. Bad play there.
