    thanks for the link. I forgot about that thread, even though I posted in it. The tattoo the OP got was pretty much what I was thinking of getting

    Teams do changes logos which worry me.

    Getting a tat like that...wow. I dont know. I mean, I know guys who have tats with their favorite teams on it, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it, you know?

    I definitely hear ya. I would't have gone through with it if we only had a "logo" i.e. The bird. The fact that it is combination of the elements of Maryland(the flag) and the Ravens is what made me do it. Plus I've always thought the crest was BA looking.

    To add to that: With vaunted defenses all but dwindling in the "new" NFL, and the way the Ravens have been synonymous with defense, it's inherently vintage, because it will always represent when defense could win a championship. Atleast to Ravens fans from the beginning.

    I figure it gives me a nice "back in my day" story springboard for grandkids as well.
