Thoughts of a Steeler Fan set to Rhyme after Sunday's Loss

    Harrison can’t get a call

He’s held each time they throw

    Suspend him 1 more @#$* time, Goodell…

    We were beaten by Tebow?

Ben played on just 1 ankle

    He nearly stole the show

Rub some dirt on yours Markice

    We were beaten by Tebow!

    Clark’s absence was regrettable

But the right thing as we know

I’d give him one of my spleens

    We were beaten by Tebow?

    The defense short on takeaways

    How open their the win-dow?

If we only played some young guys

    We were beaten by Tebow?

    Poor coaching or bad luck,

    Injuries or X’s and O’s

We’ve got a lot of excuses

    We were beaten by Tebow?!?

Did you see Coach Tomlin’s presser

He’d do it all again you know

    Arians and Dick are back

    We were beaten by Tebow?

Big Ben the well dressed QB

At his presser in voice low

Fred Flintstone never looked as good

    We were beaten by Tebow?

    It doesn’t matter anyway

We’d have lost to the Pats also

A head start on our drinking

    We were beaten by Tebow?

    The 49ers better lose

A 6th ring for them would blow

How then would we feed the trolls

    We were beaten by Tebow?!

The Steelers are in cap hell

20 million over next year’s dough

    We wasted it on Timmons

    And were beaten by Tebow!

Hines will take a pay cut

Let’s see how low he’ll go

    It better be 6 figures

    We were beaten by Tebow?

    Hampton, BMac, and Rashard

    Farrior or Foote to go

A new roster to learn in camp

    We were beaten by Tebow?

Next season can’t come soon enough

The Iron City Brew will flow

It may even help me forget

We were knocked out by Tebow

The one thing they have more of in Pitt is artistic talent obviously.

Coming from anywhere else in the world, I'd tell the author not to quit his day job. But in Yinzerstan, not only does he probably not have a day job, but that level of literary accomplishment would probably qualify him for a Pullmyfinger Prize...

    Ouch

Clearly my mind got numb spending time reading their boards for material.

I'm thinking the prize should probably be in the form of bronzed chinese handcuffs.

Do you think they'd appreciate having it on their boards 52d?

We need a Pittsburgh got Tebowed haiku thread. That old haiku thread from the Orioles board on Sunspot had me in stitches.

I like the post on their board about how Denver won on the last play of the game in an illegal formation.

For being a Steeler board Steelernation sure loves going to other teams boards and importing their posts. they come here often and discuss what we talk about the main difference being here people actually talk about football. There they talk about blind homerism and if you disagree you can bet on some neg reps. Even in the posts where i show facts and figures they are all disregarded as ramblings by a 'ratfuck fan" and i should stay off their board.

Funny thing when they posted about being the 5th seed back on 1/2 i told them they should be more worried about the Denver game and forget the past 16 games. I was told they could never lose to the broncos. They said Batch could beat them.

I almost creamed my jeans when the Steelers lost. Ben and Heinz looked like they were about to pull a Tebow..........you know cry on national television after a big upset.

there were several posts on their board how they got hosed by the refs, yet with the score at 23-6, Ben clearly threw a backwards pass that was fumbled and recovered by Denver at about the Pittsburgh 25 yd line.. But somehow the Steelers got that ball back. Funny how the refs didn't blow that call in Steelers' fans feebile minds.

    Arrogant Steelers
How can you play pass defense
    With safeties up front?

    It is so unfair
    Referees hose the Steelers
    Just ask the Seahawks

    Pittsburgh take solace
Big Ben can't lose to Ravens
    Oh crap, did it twice

    Smiles fade on the bench
    When dirty player gets old
    Douchebag forever
