Yanda might have broken rib
Says he can't take deep breaths and will find out tomorrow if it's broken. If he's out Sun you can hand the division to Pit IMO.

Re: Yanda might have broken rib
Carey Williams might be even a bigger problem if he can't go against cincy. Yanda would be a big loss, but gurode should be able to step in and hold his own.

Re: Yanda might have broken rib
I thought Gurode played okay. Win next week and he can have a week off to heal.

Re: Yanda might have broken rib
Broken ribs heal quite quickly and tend to be one of the least damaging in terms of time missed of any broken bone. Even if it is a broken rib, I wouldn't say he's 100% out.

Re: Yanda might have broken rib
I am guessing there is swelling so they can't take x rays until tomorrow?? That is the only reason I can think of they didn't take an x ray right after it happened.
They can usually do that in about 5 minutes in the locker room.

Re: Yanda might have broken rib
From the Ravens website:
Yanda suffered his injury when trying to cut Browns defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin in the second quarter. He said he took a knee right to the ribs. Yanda went in for X-rays, but he said they were inconclusive.
“I’m in bad pain, otherwise I would have never come out,” said Yanda, who is well-known as one of the team’s toughest players. “It’s pretty bad. I just had real bad trouble breathing.”
Yanda was on pain medication after the game and said it wasn’t feeling better. He was still having trouble taking deep breaths, he told reporters.
