  1. T-Sizzle for Defensive POY

Suggs has been a beast this year. It was great being there this past Sunday and watching hi fly around and force fumbles. Suggs is a game changer- just look at the last Pitt game. He has carried the D while Ray has been out.

Question: Is Ray Lewis the only Raven to win this award? what year was that?

I would have to look it up. Reed should have last year. He played half the season and led in Interceptions.

Ray Lewis has won the award as the middle linebacker in a 4-3 defense and, as an inside linebacker in the 3-4 defense. Ed Reed has won the award as a SS (Strong Safety).

If Suggs win it this year that would be four times a raven have this award. Wow. Thats speaks volumes about our team and our defense. Great players and coaches

Ware is the only one who will be challenging Suggs for this. The media loves Sizzle so its looking good for him. When do they usually announce this stuff anyhow?

Counting this years' winner, the winners of only 10 DPOY awards will be active in the nfl (and that's including Bob Sanders, who is active in contract status only), and the Ravens would have 40% of those wins on this roster if Suggs gets it.

    Ray 2000, 2003
    Ed 2004
    Suggs 2011

    The others:

    Urlacher 05
    Jason Taylor 06
    Bob Sanders 07
    Headhunter Harrison 08
    Charles Woodson 09
    Hair 10
