I like you. You basically see a bunch of statistics, choose whichever one makes your case look good, then stick your fingers in your ears and scream LALALALA whenever anyone counters it with a glut of evidence.

In my opinion, Sanchez has a more than 50% higher INT rate, fumbles as often as Flacco with fewer pass attempts and completes nearly 6% fewer passes. He also wins games at an 8% lower rate, throws for half a yard less per attempt, has never had a top 25 DVOA year while Flacco's been top 20 his previous two, and he has only one metric (sack rate) of profootballreference's advanced passing metrics better than avg vs. Flacco's five.

That's all just my opinion though. I can't really back up my assertion that Flacco's a better QB with any real facts. Sorry.

    Okay, you want some facts?

How about some touchdown/interception ratios? (not including the games today)

Flacco has 73 touchdowns and 42 interceptions.

Sanchez has 47 touchdowns and 44 interceptions.

Please I want to hear your explanation of what Sanchez brings to the table, besides that adorable smile, that makes up for such a huge disparity in touchdown/interception ratios. I'm dying to hear it.

Every single basic and advanced passing metric shows Sanchez as a below-average NFL starting quarterback, many in the bottom 2/3.

It's not on us to prove our case. Our case is proven. "He's been to the conference championship twice" isn't a fact or stat that proves he's a decent QB. Doug Williams and Trent Dilfer can show you their Superbowl rings. Your turn. You think he's decent, feel free to prove it.

Or, just keep your head in the sand. Or be a troll. Not sure which right now, but clearly it's one or the other, and your response will give us that answer.

Sorry man. That ends it right there. 47-44 is not even in the same HEMISPHERE as 73-42.

Sanchez has played 43 games and had 8 games of 100+ qb rating.

43 games into Flacco's career he had 17 games of 100+ qb rating.

    73-42
    47-44

    There is absolutely no comparison.
assuming this is true that's some good shit - thank you! Again, I am not a Sanchez fan but this whole thread is full of posters saying he sucks and Flacco is awesome when THIS YEAR they're pretty damn similar; I guess career wise (based on your post above) is a different story, although the Jets went to two AFCC.

Please let it die. they're both pretty good QBs. Thank god we dont have Colt Mccoy

Sanchez is mentally and physically weak.

If he was Baltimore's QB he would get the same treatment as Boller.

Right. Man, Tarvaris Jackson is effing DOMINANT! Check his Thursday stats. Seriously, he's probably as good as Rodgers. Better completion percentage and YPA than Rodgers had today.

    See what I did there?

Hey Mark Sanchez's TD-INT ratio sounds familiar. Almost seems like I've seen it before........
