    Sage Rosenfels

Looks like the Dolphins are releasing Rosenfels from their non-football Injured list. Anyone else think he might be worth a pickup? Maybe for the minimum if he clears waivers? Flacco's been a total horse and I like what Tyrod Taylor showed in the preseason, but if the unthinkable were to happen I don't think Taylor could win a big game. Not that Rosenfels is anything special but with this defense and running game I think he could do enough.

I'm sure Tyrod is rather serviceable and suitably efficient in his clipboard holding duties.

As Solomon Wilcotts would say, "We don't need Sage Rogenfeld"

I like seeing teams release these QBs late in the season if they're not going to play them. (McNabb, Orton). Adds a little drama in lieu of free agency

Not sure if Sage is the answer but I've increasingly been thinking about the backup qb situation. We've been incredibly lucky to have Flacco never miss a game in four seasons. And a quick look around the NFL will tell you how quickly it can all turn around if your QB goes down.

Tyrod Taylor is better than Rosenfels.

    Write that down.

Good point. The ever thinning list of healthy starting QBs bodes well for Sage and McNabb. They probably get picked up....but I don't think the Ravens are in the mix.

Even if that's not true, Joe Flacco's farts are better QBs than either of those guys. If Joe goes down we're not contenders anymore. I don't care that much who is under center at that point; either one of them is capable of going down with the ship.

I don't think it would be wise to bring Sage in... Bc
