Bears release SS Chris Harris.
Don't understand this one at all.

Heard he asked for a trade and the FO wasn't very happy about it. Still doesn't expalin the out right release though. :insane:

Harris has been a disaster this year. I don't think too many teams will be interested.

All of Chicago's safeties have been a disaster this year. Brandon Merriweather should have been cut two weeks ago. His best move is launching with his helmet.

Pats release Leigh Bodden. Kind of odd since they would have to pay him for the rest of the year so I'm not sure what happened. I don't think he will be on the street long

I suppose that, since they already exposed his weaknesses earlier in the season, they think that they can help cover them up better.
