Re: Friday Injury Report: Raven @ Jaguars
Geez did A.Allen get hurt stretching , lol. Dont let my comment think that im a Hater, because i love Allen and think he should be are Number 2 RB, he is faster, stronger, more elusive, Great hands (for catching) and actually knows how to Hold on to the Ball.
I used to be a Huge R.Williams fan, ummm 10 yrs ago when he was not Good but to me the Best RB in the NFL. Man his Spin move was notorious.

Can't wait to see #22 get out there with the defense. Maybe all this early season time off will keep him from hitting the rookie wall down the stretch.

Re: Friday Injury Report: Raven @ Jaguars
These injuries are really frustrating. Seems like we are taking 3 steps forward and 4 back every week. Smith will play Monday, which is great. Looks like Carr will probably be out on Monday night, but is on pace to return against Arizona.
I think we need to start facing reality that we will be facing Pittsburgh without Grubbs and Evans and possibly Zibby.

Re: Friday Injury Report: Raven @ Jaguars
If Jimmy Smith can come back for the Jacksonville game, that would be a start. Ben Grubbs or Tom Zbikowski would be next in line and with some luck, one could come back for the Arizona game.
If Jimmy Smith does play, even though he might be rusty, Blaine Gabbert's night just got even more difficult."Please take with you this final sword, The Excellector. I am praying that your journey will be guided by the light", Leon Shore

Not a happy comment, but you might be right. Have to hope Gurode will improve with more time at G. Zibby is not critically important. Evans will be rusty when/if he comes back and he and Flacco have not had much time together.

TL, do you know what the coaches confidence in Jimmy's ankle is?
Seems to me me that he'll get snaps but not a whole game.Last edited by Sirdowski; 10-22-2011 at 10:40 AM.
