Brandon Marshall's comments
Searched but didn't see a post.....
Earlier today I saw the interview with BM.... His comments focused on giving his all on what he could do to help his team win. Then he went on to mention being flagged or thrown out of the game for several scenarios.....throwing the ball 15 yards into the stands, punting the ball away.... I just was shocked and amazed!!
As fans, we are so happy to have football back! I can't understand how a star player is looking for a way....NOT to play!
I hope a coach reminds him that there is no I in "team".
I hope his owner reminds him that there IS an I in "fine", and "suspension"!

He'll probably have less than 4 receptions.

Re: Brandon Marshall's comments
Well, the last two times he played Ray Lewis, he got a case of the 'Alligator Arms'.

Re: Brandon Marshall's comments
May have just been a dumb way of saying he's more fired up for this game then usual. Or maybe Im giving him too much credit

Maybe, the Jets should have given up two second round picks for him.

Re: Brandon Marshall's comments
I didn't hear what he said until just now, hearing them for the first time on ESPN.
Back before most of you migrated here, there was a lot of discussion on the boards about Ozzie going after him. There were a A TON of folks who wanted him and wanted him bad. I'd say the ratio was 3 to 1 in favor of those who wanted him to be a Raven.
Quite the cautionary tale now to anyone who thinks character doesn't matter on a football team.

Re: Brandon Marshall's comments
I wanted him really really bad. 4/40 is what I think Miami gave him. That's not crazy loot for a guy who caught 100 balls three straight season, and is very young. Don't remember what the draft picks were for him. Probably too much.
I'm glad the Ravens don't act on my impulses or we would have a team full of jackasses.
I'll defer to the Ravens front office experts although Brandon Marshall might have worked out okay here on field performance wise. If Cutler could tear it up with Marshall I believe Flacco also could have.
BM is a nutcase though. Big time.
