Jamison Hensley takes over ESPN AFC North Blog

James Walker, who up until now was running the blog, moves to the AFC East blog. I was a fan of Walker's. Cool to see a Baltimore guy get the gig though. Thoughts?

My thoughts are that Jamie is a very good reporter. He's going to dig up some stuff that we're going to want to read about. Walker was fine but I just didn't learn that much from him. He usually just spit out what others were writing at ESPN. I don't think that will be the case with Jamie. He's going to give us more original information and make that blog a must read

Well, I won't be reading the AFC North Blog anytime soon, Mr. Malcolm Floyd will sign tomorrow and Lee Evans probably won't happen.

Hensley has the same insider's that Aaron Wilson and WNST have, they just tell Hensley third.

They're both beat reporters so I do think they hear a lot of the same things from the same people. Wilson is the top guy though without a doubt.

James Walker was riding the Steelers junk for years. He would have 2-3 Steelers blogs for every one blog for the Ravens, Browns, and Bengals combined. I am glad to see Walker go.

I don't know about Aaron Wilson being that much better than Jamison Hensley, but Hensley is much better than what the AFC North had previously over at ESPN.

Really? I always thought he covered things pretty evenly.

Walker never seemed to come up with a lot of original information, but I also thought he was pretty balanced. He was also one of a minority of bloggers/pundits/columnists/talking heads to pick the Ravens to win the AFC North this year, so I'm not sure where the comment about riding the Steelers junk is coming from.
