Jimmy Smith injury?
I have not seen anything yet (haven't looked to hard either). What is the word on his injury? I saw he rolled it on the opening kickoff.

Re: Jimmy Smith injury?
With the way Webb & Cary played we can afford to make sure he gets healed properly.

Next man up. Hard to imagine they played that well and had to deal with an injury to a starter before the first defensive play.

Re: Jimmy Smith injury?
I would hold Smith out until the bye week. The Ravens play three more games until the bye. Better to have that ankle completely healed then to have it be a lingering issue that bothers Smith all season. The Ravens are going to need a healthy Jimmy Smith this year, considering how bad Foxworth and Webb looked in coverage yesterday.

Re: Jimmy Smith injury?
Holding him out till the bye week makes a lot of sense. The next few opponents: Tennessee, St. Louis, Jets are not the scariest passing attacks in the world. Williams, Webb and *gulp* Foxworth should be good enough for 3 weeks.
