Re: Ray Rice: Over/Under 1,300 yards rushing
With the addition of Leach and the Ravens apparent commitment to running the football, Ray Rice should get 1,300 yards rushing, maybe even 1,400 yards.

Re: Ray Rice: Over/Under 1,300 yards rushing
Leech and the changes to the O-Line are gonna help Rice.
I think that being able to stretch the field with Evans, T. Smith and Dickson will also help a lot
Rice has said he wants to put himself in that elite RB conversation and if there is anything we know about Ray Rice, its don't doubt that little engine that can.
Last but not least, if he stays healthy I think he could have a monster year in terms of total yardage (rushing and rec). Spreading the field is gonna give him more room to run with those dump offs and he is very very dangerous in space“A linebacker's job is to knock out running backs, to knock out receivers, to chase the football,”

Re: Ray Rice: Over/Under 1,300 yards rushing
I voted under. Rice will get some check-down catches adding to total yards but negative to rushing yards. That speaks well for RR however. Something close to 1100-1200 rushing seems probable.

Between 1400-1500 rushing/over 2000 all purpose yards

I'm thinking over. Leach, and Oher back to the right side will make a big difference, not to mention Evans, Reed, and Smith hopefully opening things up underneath and keeping the box a little cleaner.

Rice is gonna have holes opening up that he didn't have last year. We are going to see alot more of those big runs that he was having in 2009.

Re: Ray Rice: Over/Under 1,300 yards rushing
Wow, only two players have ever done that and neither did it twice.
Faulk had a prolific O that put up over 500 points. As much as I like the O this year I don't see that happening.
Neither also had two WRs the likes of Boldin and Evans either. Factor in two solid TE candidates, at least one of which should emerge as a reliable receiver, and I just don't think that 1K receiving is in the cards this year.

Re: Ray Rice: Over/Under 1,300 yards rushing
I can see a 1400-1500 with 500-600 receiving. I dont think its too much to consider an increase of 300 yards rushing with the oline improvements and the addition of Leach. If anything I can see his receiving yards being effected by split tight end sets and less check downs, if things go according to plan.

Under.
I'm thinking Ricky was brought in to take some of the load off Ray.

I voted over, but not by much. I see Ricky taking some carries away, which isn't a bad thing.
