I for one am glad Preston is back writing about the Ravens and not so much Vensel.

Preston being... Preston. Good information on Reed, Kindle, and the gang though. I'd imagine Reed bulked up because the team knew they were going to lose Landry and they need Zibby and Ed to play SS/FS together.

Pro Bowl safety Ed Reed practiced for the second straight day in equipment, and he appears to have added some bulk to his upper body. Reed is more muscular now than in his previous 10 seasons with the team.

Unless his senior season at the U counts, Reed only has 9 previous seasons with the Ravens.

    It's the little things, Mike...

On point, so long as he maintains his explosiveness, more muscle sounds good for Mr. Reed's health this season.

Yeah 'cause they've been working out together for what, a whole week?

"Outside linebacker Sergio Kindle is bringing a lot of energy to the defense. He has exceptional quickness, and is relentless as far as pursuit. Kindle isn't strong enough to bull rush offensive linemen, but he has quick hands and a burst to match his hand speed."

If you watch Sergio's tape from Texas, he has the kind of speed that Ray Lewis showed in his first few years in Baltimore.....I am not saying that Sergio is going to be a Ray Lewis but I think he might give us some speed out there that we really need, and paired with Suggs, may make things very interesting.

Preston is there to report on what he saw. Not to write a puff piece about the Ravens or make excuses.
