    Cullen Finnerty

I just finished doing a Google on the FA quarterback we just signed, Cullen Finnerty. Wow! To say this kid was productive is a gross understatement.

A college record of 51-4. All time NCAA record...and we have him. Accurate, athletic, and mobile too.

Could be just another small college nothing but if not, wow.

yeah, I guess a decent qb is worth a draft choice. oh, wait, FA = no draft choice.
definitely worth a shot. at worse, put him on the practice roster and let him do NFL Eurp next year.
    is he over 6'?
let's see. Dave Kreig, Ken Anderson, Phil Simms, Kurt Warner, Doug Williams all went to Div II or lower. any more?

last I heard they were bringing him back for the next camp. I think everybody in the NFL has at leat 4 qbs in camp.

He will be invited back to participate in future OTA's and his arm will be needed given Olson's participation in NFL Europa and the possibility that McNair could miss some time due to legal issues.

At best Finnerty is a practice squad candidate IMO.

thanks for all the info. I can tell you this I have watched Cullen play for the last three years and you guys have a diamond in the ruff. He is one of the toughest QB's in football. Given a chance he really could contribute. Hope you Ravens fans enjoy him as much as the Laker Nation did.......

based on pass (past) performances, he should get a good shot. the Ravens have a history of giving low-round draftees and UFAs a good look. Priest Holmes, Kemo Maakeato, Bart Scott, BJ Sams, Ronnie Prude, all came in off the steet and had (are having) careers.

Has Troy Smith shown any promise? Heard he is having problems picking up the offense.

    Wrong thread, too. Ignore. ;)
