OT: NC State's Lorenzo Charles killed
Killed in a bus crash (he was the driver). Some of the older guys on here, like myself, will remember him from the 1983 National Championship team at NC State.

RIP Lorenzo. Everyone has seen that crazy scene with Valvano looking for someone to hug. One of those moments in sports that will live forever.

You can't think of NCAA upsets without thinking of Charles snagging that short 3-pointer out of thin air and stuffing it in for the Wolfpack win over Akeem and that stacked Houston Cougars team... One of the alltime special moments in college basketball history.
