Ravens TV/Radio Partner Announcement
RAVENS ON THE AIR
Ravens fans as far north as Harrisburg, Pa. and south in Washington D.C. and northern Virginia will get to watch all of the team’s preseason games on local television stations.
The Ravens have reached agreements with WDCW-TV (DC50) in D.C. and WHTM-TV (ABC27) in Harrisburg to carry the Ravens’ final three preseason games: at the Washington Redskins on Aug. 21, against the New York Giants on Aug. 28 and at the St. Louis Rams on Sept. 2. WBAL-TV in Baltimore continues as the Ravens’ local TV partner and will carry those three games. WBAL’s coverage through cable systems includes the Eastern Shore and Sussex County, Delaware (including Rehoboth and Lewes).
“It’s important to us that our fans throughout Maryland, in south central Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., northern Virginia and the Delaware shore be able to see our games. These agreements allow that to happen,” Ravens president Dick Cass said.
(Tomorrow night’s preseason opener against the visiting Carolina Panthers will be seen by the entire country on ESPN. Locally, WJZ-TV bought the rights to this game.)
Mark Burdett, the Ravens’ vice president of corporate sales and development, is encouraged by the response from regional broadcasters: “All of our broadcast friends and partners have shown an enthusiasm for Ravens broadcasts. They wanted to make sure our local and regional fans can watch and listen to Ravens programming.”
NEW RADIO AFFILIATES
Burdett noted that the team has added Washington D.C., Annapolis, Md. and Newcastle, Del. affiliates to the 14-station Ravens radio network. WTOP-AM/WFED-AM in D.C. will carry all Ravens games, as will WNAV-AM in Annapolis and WWTX-AM in Newcastle, Del.
Please note: The Ravens will announce next week where their five weekly television shows can be seen.

Re: Ravens TV/Radio Partner Announcement
I was wondering how long it would take WNAV-AM in Annapolis to finally dump the Redskins in favor of the State's home team. Fourteen years!
In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

Re: Ravens TV/Radio Partner Announcement
Did anyone read the article on WNST about how the Ravens/MASN deal was killed? Basically blames Angelos for killing the deal, mentions how he only wants to speak to Bisciotti personally and won't speak to anyone under him, the deal sat on his desk for weeks with no activity, etc.
Now, it's from WNST, so take it for whatever you'd like knowing their hatred for anything Angelos, but it's interesting reading nonetheless.

Re: Ravens TV/Radio Partner Announcement
I'm without cable so might not get to watch rest of the games down here on the shore. :(
I think NFL Network will replay them; I can catch the replay at least :D"Nothing stops these Baltimore Ravens. Beat them, injure them, shove them to the bottom of the standings, drag them into a hostile environment and mount a big lead, and they just keep trudging forward like nothing fazes them." (Bleacher Report)
