Galen is gonna love this story. He's always talking about corporate greed
and this tops the cake.

Here's a story about BP wanting the drilling rights in Libya. Kadafy said
OK, but he wanted England to release the Lockerbie bomber as a
condition.

He's the guy who blew up the plane killing 270 people including 190
Americans.

So BP said we'll get back to you and they did after convincing Tony
Blair to release the bomber. Blair got the gov't to say he was dying and
they were sending him home to die much to the dismay of the deceased's
families.

Anyway, he arrived in Lybia to a heroe's welcome but guess what?

When it was time to die, he didn't. Seems like England's docs missed
it so the guy lives in luxary.

BP used to be British Petroleum but it's just BP now.

Reports also said that engineers gave BP advanced warning their
rig would blow and they ignored the reports.

Chalk one up to Galen on this one.
