My boy Flacco rounding up guys for more workouts

I posted on the other thread that Joe is one of the few guys that stays late
and worked out Stallworth and Boldin when they arrived.

Now that everyone is gone from the OTAs he's looking for Boldin and
Stallworth to work out with before camp starts.

Boldin says he's available and wants to hook up with Joe couple days a
    week.

This makes up for some bad press over you know what.

This is what you like to see from your QB and WRs. This is what made Johnny U so great, he wanted to take time out of practice to make his chemistry better with his weapons.

I'm not saying Flacco is gonna be the next Unitas, but its possible he could be the best QB in Baltimore since then.

That's right and it's kind of funny I found this on the Ravens web site.

They want to make sure this gets out there after all the bad PR they
got. Not everyone is a p*ssy.

I like where Stallworth said we can even jet out to Arizona to hook up with
    Heap.

Um, not sure about dat. He was one of the union reps that complained about the long meetings.
Hell, I worked OT and didn't get paid or comp time and that was for the gov't-lol. I never
joined any unions either. I watched out for #1 and lasted 35 years. As Demo Dick alwasy said,
always have a safety net. I always had a safety net. LOL.

I hope Harbs and Cam have a quick meeting with Joe on the rules of player hours. Wouldn't want to see the NFLPA throw the book at him for violating the rules of working conditions

LOL - Yea, and maybe Stallworth meant that Heap statement as a joke.

I mean, how can Heap work OT now after officially complaining about
    team meetings being so long.

    Stallworth had to be joking.

Yeah, this is the kind of stuff I like to hear about Flacco.

JU used to stay after dark sometimes with Berry working the sideling timing pass. I read that they were so in sync on that pass that they could hit it 7 out of 10 times at night with no moon out.

Anyway, really glad to hear Flacco is taking the initiative to round up some guys and that they are willing to work extra too.

It makes me even more excited for the coming season.

That's the pass that won the 58 Championship game.

    Just ask the Giants.

Even Howard Cosell asked Frank Gifford on MNF why couldn't they stop
    Unitas to Berry in 58.

    Frank said, I don't know.

I hope you are right, because that would mean he is better than #7 from Ruston La. And that guy was pretty good.

Harbs would have to learn them to teach them. Actually I think he knew them but chose to ignore them.
Anyway, good for Joe. This is the time of the year to build trust between reciever and QB. Training camp does not allow for a lot of extra time.

Yes, fraternizing with fellow teamates could carry a stiff penalty. LOL.

Bert Jones was a teriffic QB until he hurt his shoulder. He was never the same after that. Funny how I seldom if ever hear people say that but he was like a different QB from that point on.

Too bad because he could have had an even better career. HOF? Maybe.

I really like Joe Flacco; however, he has a long, long way to go to catch up to Bert Jones!
