Tightening Senate races give pause to upbeat GOP
The overplay of the crazy
In speeches and ads, Sestak ties Toomey to O'Donnell, the headline-grabbing upstart who trails by double digits in Delaware polls. In a debate Wednesday, Sestak said he worries about "those extreme candidates" who take advantage of "the extreme fringe of the tea party. There are those that are running with Congressman Toomey. Miss O'Donnell next door, for example."
While many analysts have predicted a tightening of Senate races, the strategy might be working. If that perception spreads, it will embolden Democrats making similar claims against tea party Republicans in Nevada, Colorado and elsewhere.

Re: Tightening Senate races give pause to upbeat GOP
LOL - Galen hasn't been around for a while with all the bad news so now he chimes
in with a pause. That's the best he has to hope for. We still have the HOuse and
the GUV races. The Senate keeps bouncing up in down between a tie and
a few points.
But like I said Galen - Pelosi won't be the Speaker no matter who wins what in Congress
because her own party is throwing her under the bus.
Galen - you forget the GUV races. Muhammad knows they are critical for the
re-election and GOP is ahead 27-8 according to Real Clear and the final
nail in his coffin will be the next economic crisis scheduled just before
election day.
As this guy says, it was no accident the last crash occurred just before
election. It often does as a result of deficit spending and in this case,
laxed housing lending that started or increased under Clinton.

Re: Tightening Senate races give pause to upbeat GOP
LOL - That is usually the case with Galen, but it's been a really bad 2 years for Muhammad his DEMs and the
local medical profession.
BTW, Galen would love to know that I'm un-retired and supporting myself. I re-opened a home-based
business I had years ago and have a specialized client who asked me to do some work I told him
what I did. He's given me so many contracts to do, I might have to hire some help.

Re: Tightening Senate races give pause to upbeat GOP
Nah, my gov't pension will cover them all.
Actually, I'm having throat surgery next Fri, and when I told the doc my insurance picked up the $67,000
tab on my last surgery 5 years ago, he said, man you have great insurance.
I said had. I'm about to lose it.
Funny, I was talking to my client while exercising in the pool at the swim
club and he owns the club. Maybe I'll buy another new car - a Vett.
Anyway, as for Galen's polls above, REal Clear has the Senate race as a 48-45 lead for the
DEMs but Murray is ahead by just 2, and Manchin by 3 and Boxer in
Calif by just 4.
That makes it well within the margin of error which means the entire
race is tied.
Boxer might be 1 pt above the margin of error but still close enough.

Re: Tightening Senate races give pause to upbeat GOP
YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!
RASMUSSEN HAS IT AS SOLID GOP!!
I WAS ALSO RIGHT ABOUT THE TIE.
RASMUSSEN HAS DEMS WITH A 48-46 LEAD FOR SENATE BUT
WITH 6 TOSS UPS.
THAT TIES IT UP LIKE I SAID ABOVE WITH THOSE DEMS WITH ONLY
A +1 or a +2 LEAD.
ANGLE ALSO PULLS AHEAD OF REID BY 4 PTS, JUST ABOUT WITHIN THE MARGIN
OF ERROR BUT SHE'S PULLING AWAY IN WHAT RASMUSSEN CALLS THE NASTIEST
CAMPAIGN IN THE COUNTRY.
THEY DON'T CALL HIM DIRTY HARRY FOR NUTTEN!!
IF YOU GO BACK TO SEPT YOU WILL SEE ANGLE HAS HAD A 1-4 PT LEAD EVERY
WEEK EXCEPT ONCE OR TWICE.

Re: Tightening Senate races give pause to upbeat GOP
This race was never close, it was all BS in order to raise money for the campaigns.
