Adam is a stud, but I really don't see how he got this over Markakis or even Izzy. He let WAY too many balls over his head this season.

He got it because is more about spectacular plays than the best fielders.

I agree that Markakis is a better OF.

It's par for the course though and it's a nice award for him.

I laughed when I saw that Jeter won one.

I was very surprised to see Jones win the Gold Glove this year. it is usually very hard for young players to win gold gloves bc there is usually a bias towards the veteren players and the same players seem to win it year after year. also he missed a lot of time with injuries. i definatly saw the potential for him to win multiple gold gloves in his career i just didnt think he would this year. but now that he has his first there will be many more to come (hopefully all in an oriole uniform)
