    Burgess?

    So, now after not playing for the one game they had him for in NE, they released the ex raven. Do you think this could be a brilliant move by harbs to try to get inside information from NE? odds are thats a conspiracy at this point, but what do you guys think about this? any chance we re-sign him? he was one of the better special teamers on our team

    No. They couldn't forsee an injury to Wilfork.

    And I doubt they resign him at this point. The TE depth is probably more important as we're stacked at LB.

    If he clears waivers I can see him coming back, but there are enough teams out there he could get pt on that it is unlikley.

    correct, there's a quote in another thread from the boston herald that says the pick was based on playing time. since he didn't play, we get nothing.
