Tailgating regular season
Because of possible Casino construction I understand Lot J was only issuing preseason parking passes and that there is a possibility that Lot O could be unavailable to make way for Casino employee parking. Is this still the case? Is anyone having to move because of this and where are you moving to?

Re: Tailgating regular season
Nevermind, it seems that they got approval 2 weeks ago to change their plans to use the newly razed space where Maryland Chemical Inc. used to be and not use lot J. It looks like Lot J has been spared.

Spared for the 2009 season only. After that, Lot J (and perhaps Lot O as well) may be part of the casino complex. Or not. Check the Lot J Follies thread.
The conceptual design for the casino was a rooftop facility, over a multi-story parking garage on the Lot J and animal shelter properties. After the new deal was made to increase the size of the casino to a 5,000 customer capacity facility across Warner Street from Lot J, the casino developer and the Ravens struck a deal to allow Lot J parking for the 2009 season -- only. Central Parking told me that Lot J will be part of the casino complex, with construction starting after this season. The Sunpapers reported only that
The immediate fate of the site for the original slots parlor, Ravens' parking Lot J, is unclear. Cryor said that his group likely will use that space at some point in the future.
The plan calls for construction of a five-story, 2,500-space parking garage, according to members of Baltimore City Entertainment Group, which applied for Baltimore's video lottery terminal license
The Maryland Stadium Authority appears to be sitting on its hands in all this.Last edited by Mista T; 08-26-2009 at 08:17 PM.
In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

Re: Tailgating regular season
I noticed Monday night there was a zoning change sign on the iron grille of J lot. I would love to go back to J but don't see it happening.
