Re: Exempt
Wow (no surprise!!), neither one of you answered my question.
Here, I'll ask it again slowly: Why - can't - we - fix - Medicare/Medicaid - and - make - them - more - streamlined/efficient - as - well - as - price - competitive - against - the - big/bad - for profit - companies?!?!

Re: Exempt
You can use that same picture in reverse. The top graph shows the empolyees necessary to run a medical billing office. The bottom shows how the governmetn would do it, with 90% of the employees tenured and refusing to work....
Or the top is the waiting line on the public option, the bottom is the one after all the red tape is inserted.

Re: Exempt
I forgot about this.....thank you for bumping it Galen. As I said before, Medicare/Medicaid are rife with fraud and lose a $1Billion+ a year.....and you think a "Public Option" wouldn't suffer the same fate?
Lets fix Medicare/Medicaid first and make it a true public option for low-income earners and for the first 6 months of unemployment. Make the patient liable for the first $2500 (aka a $2500 deductible) and then the gov would pick up the rest. I still say Tort reform needs to be addressed as well.
