Why is this "pit" in my stomach?

It happens every game, especially in the playoffs.

I am not playing. When the game is over my life will essentially be the same either way.

So why do I get so nervous over other people playing football?

I need to hit somebody. :girlfight

Im with ya.

My girlfriend made an amazing spread this morning and I didnt eat one bite. I just sat here quiet, watching the NFL Network to get anything I can on the game.

We're about to leave for Champps now. Meeting up with about a half dozen Ravens fans and I am willing to bet we wont be saying or eating much.

I just ate a sub from Quiznos and feel like shit right now. Can't sit still, can't get comfortable. I went out earlier to home depot thinking walking around and looking at hammers and shit might be relaxing...everyone I saw was in purple talking football.

Post-Playoff Football Syndrome is why we worry. After a loss, it is the long winter of discontent.

Luckily we win this game today and we can be jubiliant for the remainder fo the weekend and the upcoming week.

Xanax or any other benzodiazapine works well for taking the edge off.

We went to the Super Walmart up in Hanover for the weekly shopping trip.
Figured I'd go to get out of the house and get my mind on something else.
Lots of folks running around up there in purple.

We get back awhile ago and I'm down in the club room watching NFL network.
Wife starts yelling about a thing of cheese being left out in the trunk or something.

I go out there, open the trunk and the lid falls down and hits me in the head.
I get pissed off and slam open the trunk lid which in turn broke both of the hydraulic lifts.

Now the trunk lid is busted, and I'm still sitting here pissed off and nervous.

Oh yeah, the damn cheeses was sitting on the kitchen counter in a bag!!

I hate late game kick offs, and really hate the possible finality(sp?) of the season.:grbac: :grbac:

Man... all i could manage up the energy to do so far today was play people in Madden 09 over the internet... I'm ready for this game... I feel that pit too... I'm not allow anyone to ask me to do anything...

And now I have been asked to go to Costco, fight the mobs there so I can make wings for our guests.

I love my girlfriend, but damn. That just aint happening.

The Ed Reed purple jersey is on (they have won every time I have worn it), the first of many cold ones are at my side and my arse aint moving.

Pizza Hut is about as best we can do.

im done food for the day, the fucking quiznos turkey tuscany still speaking to me . getting ready to open a black lager from S Adams. that shit is better than keopectate.
