Where Will Myles Garrett Land?
This is the prediction thread. Not what you hope (or we'd all be picking the same thing.) Just where you THINK Garrett is playing in 2025.
I'm going with kind of a dark horse: Da Bears. They are in the NFC, they have the cap space, they have good draft picks to trade, and some people think they have a franchise QB.
I've listed some of the other top teams being tossed around, and of course I've listed the Ravens. Although if you pick the Ravens, I have to forewarn you that you are 100% unequivocally wrong."Chin up, chest out."

Re: Where Will Myles Garrett Land?
Detroit has $56M in cap space and they're in "win now mode".
One of the biggest hurdles they faced during the playoffs this year was how many defensive players they had on IR.
Aidan Hutchinson opposite of Myles Garrett?Disclaimer: The content posted is of my own opinion.

Re: Where Will Myles Garrett Land?
I say he plays in Cleveland next year and is traded when he’s in the last year of his deal

I'm going to guess Cleveland will keep him and he will begin sitting out games. Worst case scenario seems like a good bet.

Re: Where Will Myles Garrett Land?
I chose Cleveland because I believe Haslam's ego is too big to admit how badly he's screwed this up. There is a voice inside his head whispering, "so you're saying we still have a chance?" He won't get rid of his best player because he's not willing to send that message to his "fan"base.
If I didn't think that, I would have said Commanders. They have the cap room and they have the feeling they are playing with house money at this point."That's what."

Re: Where Will Myles Garrett Land?
He would have to be awfully delusional. Not saying he's not. But man.
Setting aside every other problem that this team has for a second: IT HAS NO QUARTERBACK. None.
So in order to believe you can even be competitive, you have to believe either a) you can win playoff games without a QB, or b) that somebody like Sanders or Ward can come in and play very well, very early.
We all know a) is not true. And b) is a longshot with a great team around you. Cleveland is not a great team. It's a 3-14 team that is going to have to jettison a big chunk of its remaining talent just to get under the cap, AND will have almost zero dollars to throw at even mediocre free agents.
Could Haslam be that delusional? I suppose. But if he is... wow."Chin up, chest out."

Re: Where Will Myles Garrett Land?
Evidence of yes, he is that delusional, is that he forced his head coach to cow-tow to Watson and fire this OC so that Watson could feel more comfortable playing from the shotgun in a system that didn't fit the rest of the offensive personnel.
When given the chance to change course and regather, Haslam has time and again thrown good money after bad, rather than just admit he made a bad investment."That's what."
