COLLEGE: Was one of the most productive wideouts in East Carolina history, finishing his career as the 2nd leading receiver (139) and 4th in receiving yards (1,683) in school history…As a senior, Copper led Conference USA with 87 grabs for 897 yards and a pair of TDs…He also returned 27 punts for 124 yards…As a junior, hauled in 30 passes for 395 yards and returned 30 punts for 328 yards…Industrial technology major.

PERSONAL: Earned honorable mention All-America honors from USA Today as a senior at Washington (N.C.) HS, where he was a 3-time All-Conference and All-Area selection…Selected to play in the 1999 Shrine Bowl and East/West All-Star Game.

TRANSACTIONS: Steven Hauschka was claimed off waivers and signed with the Baltimore Ravens as a free agent on 8/31/08…Was released by the Minnesota Vikings on 8/30/08…Originally signed with the Vikings as a rookie free agent on 5/2/08.

PRO: Strong-legged kicker who can blast kickoffs and is an accurate field goal kicker…Connected on all 4 FGAs (35 yards, 21 yards, 34 yards and 48 yards) and all 4 PATs during the 2008 preseason with the Vikings.
