Re: This is Trump’s America
You're correct........it's only wrong when you decide it's wrong. Right now there is no evidence of any wrong doing by this person in his current position.....correct? He has been removed? You think anything would be different if they found out about his personal beliefs before January 20th? SO what should we take from this? That he wasn't cleared? You really think that EVERY single person in the government that has access to sensitive information has been properly vetted? or is it that you are just displaying fake rage over one particular person in the Trump government? OMG!!!!! Look at this! Really? This really deserves that much attention? He said he wouldn't care if Israel and Gaza were wiped off the face of the map. But it was OK for Congress members to say that people should confront Trump cabinet members when they are out and about....."get in their face"
Two wrongs don't make it right but when the wrong was discovered it was rectified, the person in question was removed. Was Maxine Waters removed? So what do we do with this information now? What does it mean? Will it change anything? or is it something that is the only thing the left has to bitch about? Just looking for things to point to.......OMG! It's hilarious really.
Truth is the only thing Trump is doing is uncovering the fraud and waste that was so prevalent in government. Thing is DOGE has only scratched the surface, Trump is going to turn the government on it's head, he's changing fundamentally how government works......it's been needed for at least a century, the American people have been begging for it. The left really doesn't know what to do with it.......how to react to it.....their reaching.
This truly is the MAGA agenda that was always intended......to truly put America first. To put the American tax payer first. The left for so many years claimed that the Republicans were for big business.......for the millionaires. What he is doing now is 100% for the American tax payer......the middle class. The people who elected him. No tax on tips........no tax on social security......no tax on overtime. This is about the middle class. Make no mistake about it, weather you are for or against Trump, he's changing the way things are done in Washington. I for one am all for it, clearly what we have been doing isn't working. The way government has been functioning hasn't been working. The only people who have been complaining is the bureaucracy........the swamp. The politicians. Their voices have been the loudest because their gravy trains are coming to an end. These are the people who created this mess, those politicians like Biden, Shumer, McConnell, Pelosi and all the others that have been in congress for decades. These are the people who spent all this money.Always buying Antique and vintage items......

Re: This is Trump’s America
I think it's great, Trump is giving all those that were behind the attacks on him in his first term the big middle finger. He got himself elected despite everything he went through. It truly was historic. Books will be written for decades about what has and what will take place. trump is taking a wrecking ball to the halls of Washington. The swamp has never seen anything like it. By the time his term is up, the political system we once knew, the political landscape will look nothing like it does today.
The Democrat party pushed all their chips in.......they went scorched earth in trying to stop Trump. They committed illegal acts, they tried twice to impeach him, when that didn't work they indicted him. It truly was remarkable, it also shows the resolve of the American people.
Donald trump has changed the way we value legacy media, we always knew it was biased but Trump pulled the covers right off of it. Trump is literally responsible for the death nail in the news industry as we know it. The left will still want you to believe Trump is crazy......egomaniac.........crazy like a fox. Trump was the person this country has needed for a loooooong time. He isn't a politician, he isn't a swamp creature. They will still try to demonize him. However he has one mountain left to climb..........the economy.
If he can turn the economy around and truly get this thing going it will be the a complete renaissance.
Instead of the Democrats regrouping and trying to rebrand, re imagine their message for the midterms they just quadruple down.........Trump bad. They have no other message......it's really sad.Always buying Antique and vintage items......

Re: This is Trump’s America
No. It's glorious. I hope your prognostications come true, but these screwballs aren't done yet.
Luckily they are not nearly as good as calculating a good strategy. It was obvious the lawfare and impeachments were working against them, but they pressed that to the end, still calling him a convicted felon as if any average American really gives that credence.
Now they are reduced to screeching nutjobs blathering on about unelected Musk and democracy dying, when in fact what is really on the deathbed is corruption and massive, bloated government. Trump won't likely do enough about the massive size, but cutting the corruption will be a good start. Once exposed, the appetite of the American people to see much more chopped off, even if not so corrupst, will hopefully increase.
It's a good start, but this is three steps into a journey that needs to go hundreds of miles.

Re: This is Trump’s America
Agreed, however I think this is just the beginning. Trump has at least two years to slice and dice, I don't think he can fix a problem that's been at least a century in the making.......however I think he does enough to stop the progression of it happening. In fact he must not stop........he needs to go all the way, in things like Medicare and Medicaid, education and infrastructure such as roads etc. No more buying hammers for $350. Spending what amounts to double the cost when building and repairing roads. My hope is that Trump can make it an expected way of doing business in the Government. A change of attitude throughout the government where employees now look to save money rather then to spend it foolishly.
I hope Trump fundamentally change the way America does business. It's been said a million times that Government should be ran like a business.......and now we have a business man running it. My thing is, the way we have been operating has been a disaster, a road to bankruptcy, insolvency. There had to be drastic measures taken. Sure there will be trendily fire casualties along the way. It's the cost of making difficult choices. It could be me......I am getting ready to apply for Medicare in a few months. Social Security after that. But this country needs an enema....a cleansing.
We've known it for a long time. We just kept feeding the bloated monster food till it's become this gargantuan insatiable tape worm. Cash money......American dollars is it's food and liberal woke causes is it's air that it breaths. Donald Trump and Elon Musk are here to slay the worm. I love it, the people that voted for trump.....that got him elected.....have a front row seat to watch the left squirm. The left have been giving it to the middle class for decades. Right up the ass.......we never even let out as much as a whimper. Nope, we just kept going to work everyday, paying our taxes and letting the Government shove it up our ass with two fist. Oh, the Republicans were just as complicit. They have shit on their hands as well. But now we truly get to see these people who spent our money like drunken sailors on leave in the red light district.......squirm. The game is over, the gig is up.
We all know Trump is doing the right thing......we just don't like it. The politicians don't like it. I promise you their constituents are not calling them raising hell that Donald Trump is cutting waste and fraud. They are the ones having a kitten over it. You know you hit them where it hurts when they start invoking the children............Ohhhhhhhh the poor children in Africa are going to starve. Since the 60's the American government has sent over a TRILLION dollars to Africa. To help feed them, to help them build communities, to grow food, to become independent. Most of the money was stolen and the people are no better off then they were in the 60's, there is still famine. a TRILLION dollars of tax payer money and they are no better off. It has to stop, there must be accountability.Always buying Antique and vintage items......

Re: This is Trump’s America
We get it you, and many in the swamp dont want anyone auditing the books. Cant let people peek behind the curtain. So they caterwaul with stupid responses (as greg pointed out) like but but but they were unelected. Of course uou will have those of the same political stripe whining about unelected federal drones being removed too.
Bottom line, someone has to audit the books. And what this shows is whoever was ‘approved’ to audit the books did a shit job.

Re: This is Trump’s America
So Pam Bondi comes out strong
Posting a few blips I want to highlight on it. More info at the link
Sanctuary cities
Bondi reignited a long-running legal battle between DOJ and “sanctuary jurisdictions,” or cities or counties that have declined to cooperate with enforcement of federal immigration law.
She ordered the department to “pause the distribution of all funds until a review has been completed” of grants or other money flowing to those jurisdictions.
Making DOJ lawyers toe the line
Bondi also laid down a get-tough policy toward any career lawyers who might seek to undermine the Trump administration’s agenda, even going so far as to raise the possibility of firing attorneys who won’t go along with their superiors.
“Department of Justice attorneys have signed up for a job that requires zealously advocating for the United States,” Bondi wrote. “The discretion afforded Department attorneys entrusted with those responsibilities does not include latitude to substitute personal political views or judgments for those that prevailed in the election.”
Redirecting law enforcement
Bondi called for the Justice Department to put its full weight behind Trump’s effort to crack down on illegal immigration, using “all available criminal statutes.” She also called for the department to support the Department of Homeland Security, which has primary responsibility over immigration matters. Bondi’s memo follows an earlier directive from DOJ’s acting No. 2 official, Emil Bove, instructing FBI-led terrorism task forces across the country to re-focus on immigration.
Weaponization
Bondi directed the “weaponization” group to investigate former special counsel Jack Smith, who brought the two federal criminal cases against Trump: one over Trump’s role in the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol and another on Trump’s mishandling of classified documents.
And she directed the group to examine “federal cooperation with the weaponization” by the offices of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and New York Attorney General Letitia James. Bragg’s office brought the criminal hush money case against Trump that ended in his conviction on 34 felony counts of business fraud. James brought a civil fraud lawsuit against Trump and his family business that resulted in a judge ordering Trump to pay a massive civil judgment.

Re: This is Trump’s America
I'm shocked and must report it: The investment fund managers carrier deduction break and billionaire sports owners special tax breaks will be eliminated! That was Bernie Sanders idea.
https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trum...delson-2027738
Another proposal put forward by Trump is eliminating special tax breaks for sports team owners. Currently, when an owner buys a sports team, a portion of the purchase price is allocated to intangible assets, such as player contracts. Under current Internal Revenue Service rules, such intangible assets can be written off through amortization over 15 years, even if the team remains highly profitable. Team owners across MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, NWSL, and WNBA franchises gave more than $124.8 million to candidates or committees with Republican leanings, amounting to 94.5 percent of the total.
No tax on tips, on seniors' Social Security, no tax on overtime pay, renewing President Trump's 2017 middle-class tax cuts, adjusting the SALT cap, eliminating all special tax breaks for billionaire sports team owners, closing the carried interest tax deduction loophole, and implementing tax cuts for Made in America products.
Carried interest is a share of profits that investment fund managers receive as compensation, which is often taxed at a lower capital gains rate instead of the higher ordinary income rate. This tax treatment has led to controversy, as it allows some high-income earners to pay less tax than average workers.Dr. Martin Luther King Most Famous Quote:

Re: This is Trump’s America
I heard today that USAID funded the building of a cement plant in Gaza. Come to find out Hamas used a lot of the cement to reinforce their tunnels. Our taxes at work, funding terrorism. Thanks Dems. But we're only told the kids aren't getting their vaccines by putting a halt to this corrupt, money laundering agency.
