I used to travel to Laguna on business all the time. DHS has a huge data center there. It's called "The Ziggurat". It looks like a pre-Columbian temple. I think it was an old Lockheed Martin building. Anyway, I stayed in Laguna a lot. I swear even in the mid 90's Laguna was either having mudslides or on fire.

I loved Laguna but I loved Dana Point more.

The one near Laguna was like a tomb. No windows for the most part since the lower floors were so fucking wide. It seemed like a quarter mile from the data entry area to the cafeteria. Just a big square cut with perpendicular hallways.

Think about how much space inside a building like that lacks natural light. The lower you are the more tomb-like those buildings are. Seriously, on the first floor most of the space is completely lacking windows and natural light. Humans are not meant to work like that.

That's similar to what I tell many people in residential construction/rehabbing work, that humans were not meant to live underground, like in basements. "Human beings are not subterranean creatures." I see so many places with mold and air quality issues. Asthma issues, etc. On and on. And of course, carpeting on the floors.

Now we know whats wrong with the govt of California. Not enough fresh air and natural light. Can you imagine working in the Pentagon or any place thats underground?
